A. The Gifted and Talented Education Program (GTEP)
The Gifted and Talented Education Program is designed to meet the unique needs of the academically gifted in English, Filipino, Math and Science and to further develop the talents and potentials in sports, music and art. The gifted and talented pupils are provided with enrichment activities, special projects and researches suited to their participants in the Quiz Bee and other competitions inside and outside the school.
B. The Remedial Education Program
The Remedial Education Program is an instructional program designed for students who have identified deficiencies in English and mathematics. This program provides individualized basic skills instruction and assists students in order to achieve expected competencies in core academic skills in the aforementioned. Students who belong to this program undergo counseling sessions to boost their morale and uplift their self-confidence.
C. The Drop Everything and Read (DEAR) Program
This forty minute reading session and sixty minute reading session in the Grade School and High School respectively is considered the “heart of education”. Reading opens the door to learning about math, history, science, literature, geography and much more. The students can succeed in these subjects, take advantage of other opportunities (such as reading for pleasure) and develop confidence in their own abilities.
The Students Activity Program of Canossa Academy, Lipa City aims to develop integrated persons by discovering and enhancing their talents, interests, and values to the fullest through varied activities that will lead them to become S.M.A.R.T. Canossian with the Heart.
